Everlasting Concepts provides a Growing Programme to have local Western Australian plants available for enhanced landscapes. These plants are selected from the Iconic Master Plant Palette (Bushland Programme 2) for the intended enhanced landscapes.
It is divided into two growing programmes
The Preliminary Growing Programme - establishes key species from the Master Plant Palette and the established volume of the harder to grow species. The species are developed by cuttings, tissue culture and grafting. Each species is horticulturally assessed and monitored to ensure viability during the growing process.
The Landscape Growing Programme - relates to the client approved and budgeted individual landscapes. This programme includes the above grown plant stock from the Preliminary Growing Programme and plants from the general nursery growers listings.
When plants are not included in the Preliminary Growing Programme but are required in large for the intended landscape (i.e. Winter 2010), it is recommend for orders to be processed in April (i.e. Autumn 2009) for plants to be available for the following years landscape installation programme.
During the growing period for both programmes the plants are monitored on a monthly basis. The monitoring programme includes substitutions if required and liaison with designers, horticulturists and nursery managers. When the deliveries are required plant acquittals of the programmes are managed and stock released to approved landscape contractors
