Everlasting Concepts provides a two-module programme designed for Western Australian plants to survive in enhanced landscapes and retained bushland.
These programmes include the establishment of the landscape's plant palette, ‘Best Practice' site specifications (pre-tenders) and monitoring growth of the local plants and landscapes to ensure the success of the sustainable landscape.
Everlasting Concepts Landscape Programmes entail:
Landscape Programme 1 - is pre-tender of enhanced landscape implementation. This allows the developments' landscapes to be assessed as a whole to provide information on the landscape (in-situ) prior to the clearing as well as adapting the site specifications suitable for local Western Australian plants. Each individual landscape design is assessed which includes irrigation design and plant placement confirmed for environmental outcomes and proposed Public Open Space or streetscape enhancement.
Programme 1 also includes monitoring of retained bushlands such as Conservation Category Wetlands and Bush Forever sites. Historic information and the quality of the bushland can be provided for the community to engage in the ‘adopt the bushland' programmes.
Landscape Programme 2 - runs during and post installation of the enhanced landscapes.
This involves the installation of local plants being assessed, plant vigour being recorded in accordance with the new site specifications and, monitoring programmes which include the irrigation requirements and overall landscape health. Fauna returning to landscapes and re-establishing their habitats are also monitored.
Front yard Packages Monitoring Programmes are available on request.
