Time:
9am(Registration from 8.30am) until 4pm
Venue:
Boulevard Centre, Cambridge Library Building, Floreat

The
‘Four Season’ Seminar series have been designed to provide
information on the how, what, when and why of Western Australian
plants as they are introduced into landscape design around the
state. The seminars promote an understanding of which WA local plant
to select, growing programs, installation and ongoing maintenance
issues while reducing the use of potential environmental weeds.
The
upcoming Seminar, ‘Long Term Maintenance’ will provide an
opportunity for attendees to discuss and learn why we need to focus
on Long Term Maintenance and how to address this within the
constraints of short and medium term budget cycles. Additionally,
topics such as how maintenance relates to ecology, soils, water, how
WA plants grow, the importance of cultural understanding and
incorporating art into your landscapes will be discussed during this
informative seminar.
Seminar
speakers have a wealth of experience in the topic and the seminar
will focus on practical solutions to challenges.
Morning, afternoon teas and lunch will be provided.
